Shorashim - 2011

Aged for ten months in new oak barrels and a further ten months in used oak barrels
  • Dry red wine
  • Made from Carignan, Petite Sirah & Colombard from old vine vineyards in Mt. Carmel and the Jerusalem Hills regions, and Syrah & Petit Verdot from the Upper Galilee and a young vineyard in Vitkin Village.
  • Shorashim is a rare opportunity to experience a rare deep, characterful complex wine, beautifully balanced full of aromas of the fruit and wood aging. The wine is only released after three years maturation in the winery cellar, and it has great aging potential.
  • To be drunk 10-16 years from the vintage
