The Vitkin series is composed of varietal wines which express the special values of the winery: daring, innovation and professionalism.
The majority of the varieties in the series are veterans in Israel, ones that have served at times in secondary roles behind the popular varietals. Some of them constitute “a return to the source”, to the initial varieties of grapes brought to the Holy Land by Baron Edmond de Rothschild during the renewal of the local wine industry in the 19th century.
These varietals tend to be suitable for growth nationwide, from the Mediterranean climate with high humidity on the coastal plain to the cold and dry climate that characterizes the region of the Jerusalem Mountains and the Upper Galilee.
