Dry red wine
Carignan, Petite Syrah, Petite Verdot, Colombard
It has a brilliant, opaque, crimson black color, powerful aromas of black fruit, florals and Mediterranean herbs. A rich, deep and complex flavor balanced by a pleasant, mineral freshness, subtle mintiness and earthiness. On the palate it exhibits red and black fruit and a slight floral background. The finish is rich, elegant, complex and very long. The wine is ready to drink now but in our experience, under optimal aging conditions it will continue to develop depth of complexity and elegance for about 16-20 years after harvest.
Wonderful alongside rich dishes such as casseroles, a piece of roasted meat, and aged hard cheeses.
