A twist in the plot - after the 2010 vintage, which was relatively one of the warmest, comes the cool 2011 vintage, from which we produce one of the most elegant expressions of our Vitkin series, including Vitkin Carignan mature vines. A ripening period with cool temperatures without extreme heat events resulted in optimal ripening with an extraordinary richness of color and freshness. Crop loads were stable and ranged from 400-300 kg per dunam in the original vineyards and the new vineyard, respectively. The winemaking methods and the aging regime in wooden barrels were maintained. The wine expresses the characteristics of the variety with black raspberry, sour pomegranate, plum and wonderful florality. A precise balance between the wine's complexity, minerality and freshness maintains a fascinating harmony and an extraordinary drinking experience!

It will go well with spicy lamb and beef dishes, especially game or duck, and strong-flavored hard cheeses.
