The 2007 vintage symbolizes the continuation of the line of the first decade of the second millennium - with relatively warm even-numbered vintages and cooler odd-numbered vintages. Indeed, this vintage was more balanced and had fewer heat waves than its predecessor. The low yields, the experience we gained working with the variety, and as a result - a precise harvest date, resulted in the creation of a balanced wine, with great precision between the ripeness and freshness of the fruit. It exhibits impressive complexity, perhaps the most impressive at this point in time in the treasure chest before you. Many of our long-time customers often compare it to Syrah wines from the northern Rhone Valley, especially from the CORNAS region, thanks to its complexity, elegance, and refinement.

Petite Syrah Mature Vines is at the peak of its strength, depth and complexity of flavors. The wine will best accompany rich and aromatic cheeses, flavorful cuts of goat meat and root vegetable and mushroom dishes.
