In the 2006 vintage – a warm vintage that produced rough, high-alcohol wines in most of the red wines produced. In contrast, in the Mediterranean varieties – Carignan and Petite Sirah – we got to see how they cope with the Israeli heat and their ability to produce balanced, rich and sometimes even very elegant wines in extreme conditions. This is the wine that is older in taste, which in its youth was powerful, somewhat monolithic and very dense. Starting from the tenth year of aging in the bottle, the wine surrenders with elegance and acquires great depth and complexity. It is amazing to see how even in a wine nearly 15 years old, the intensity of flavors is maintained. The roughness is no longer present here and the wine is amazing and delightful, without signs of age as we might have expected.

Petite Syrah Mature Vines is at the peak of its strength, depth and complexity of flavors. The wine will best accompany rich and aromatic cheeses, flavorful cuts of goat meat and root vegetable and mushroom dishes.
