Approximately 100% Carignan grapes from mature vines
The wine has a ruby-black, crimson, opaque color. It is a powerful and deep wine that displays a spectrum of aromas typical of the Carignan variety, such as black plum, raspberry, floral and slightly earthy. In tasting, it has an intense structure, rich and balanced, deep and has a supportive freshness.
It will go well with spicy lamb and beef dishes, especially game or duck, and strong-flavored hard cheeses.
