Vitkin Magnum Cabernet Franc 2012
Complexity and depth for many years in a magnum bottle (1.5 liters) – not kosher
-
Dry red wine
-
Cabernet Franc and a little Petit Verdot
-
The wine already shows a deep crimson-black color, sharp and prominent aromas of black fruit (cassis and raspberries) with a characteristic florality, “minty” freshness and nuances of smoked meat. It reveals sharp and concentrated flavors of black fruit – red, pepper, anise and mint. The structure is broad and full, balanced and fresh with a long and complex finish. Under good storage conditions, it will continue to develop complexity and depth for 7 to 10 years after harvest, and even longer.
-
It will be suitable to accompany classic meat dishes such as entrecote on an iron pan, roast beef and olive oil-based pasta dishes, as well as strong-flavored hard cheeses.
